Aneo has expanded its renewable energy portfolio through the acquisition of the 130MW Bäckhammar wind farm in southern Sweden from KGAL Investment Management. This strategic acquisition supports Aneo’s broader objective of growing its presence in the Nordic renewable energy market. Located in Kristinehamn municipality within Sweden’s SE3 price zone, the Bäckhammar wind farm features 31 Vestas turbines and has been operational since 2020. The acquisition also includes the continuation of an existing power purchase agreement (PPA) with a major international technology firm, ensuring stable revenue generation.
