INRG has completed the sale of the Little Crow project—a 150MWp solar photovoltaic installation co-located with a 60MW battery energy storage system (BESS)—to British Solar Renewables (BSR). The project, designated as a Nationally Significant Infrastructure Project (NSIP), is only the second solar PV project in the UK to secure a Development Consent Order (DCO).
The transaction was advised exclusively by JLL’s Energy and Infrastructure Advisory team, who has now advised on over 5GWp of solar and 1.8GW of co-located BESS in the UK. The Little Crow project was awarded a Contract for Difference (CfD) under Allocation Round 6 and will be developed and operated by BSR, contributing to its target of delivering 700MW of renewable energy capacity by 2027.
This deal underlines again that British Solar Renewables is one of the largest UK renewables investors.
