Solar energy has arrived at the center of society – as a central means of combating climate change, green energy from PV systems is becoming increasingly popular for both industry and private households. For private households, energy independence is also a huge selling point. While Austria is known for its green energy from hydropower, the share of solar energy is increasing more and more, including in the capital city of Vienna. The following article introduces 3 PV installers based in Vienna, which are vital for the generation of solar energy.
1. Verbund AG – Austrias largest electricity producer and PV-installer
Founded in 1947 the Vienna-based Verbund AG is the largest electricity company in Austria. Accordingly, the company has a large number of business areas – one of which is photovoltaics.
