Their first fund was launched in 2009 and raised €437m within 18 months. Since then, they have gone on to launch a further two funds which have raised €1350m.

Acquisition of 161MW Spanish solar farm confirmed

In March 2022, Glennmont Partners announced their purchase of a 161MW solar project from Spanish renewables developer Grupotec. The 161MW solar project will be in addition to the previous acquisition made by the London investment group in September 2021, bringing their total Spanish solar portfolio to 634MW. The initial 473MW acquisition will be delivered by their IPP, BNZ. The 161MW solar project will be developed by Grupotec, who have developed 1.2GW of solar energy in the last 14 years.

Acquisition of onshore wind portfolio in Sweden

London-based Glennmont Partners acquired a 47MW wind portfolio in Sweden from Eolus and Mirova. The transaction comprises the 19.8MW Langmarken wind farm in Kristinehamn, as well as the 27.6MW Vasberget facilities in Ljusdal, which both have already been in operation since 2017. This marks Glennmont Partners‘ first investment in Sweden.
