What‘s the focus of Ilmatar Energy?
Founded in 2011, Ilmatar Energy Ltd is a Finnish energy company and an independent power producer. The Heslinki-based Independent Power producer focuses exclusively on renewable energy. More specifically, the company’s focus lies on on- and offshore wind in Finland.
Acquisition of 230MW Finnish onshore wind portfolio
The renewable energy company Ilmatar Energy acquired a 230MW Finnish wind portfolio from German Alterric Internationale Beteiligungs GmbH. The portfolio comprises a 200MW wind project in Ii and a 30MW wind project in Karvia which are currently in construction. This acquisition supports the strategy of Ilmatar to focus on the Nordic renewable energy market.
