What‘s the focus of Linea Energy?
Founded in 2022, California-based Linea Energy is an Independent Power Producer that has the ambition to build a multi-GW portfolio of renewable and storage projects. This includes solar, wind, as well as standalone storage assets.
Acquisition of Texas solar farm
US-based Linea Energy purchased a solar project in Texas from Horus Energy. The project is expected to have a capacity of 490MWdc, which would generate enough power to cover the electricity consumption of over 63,000 homes. Moreover, it will provide many local work opportunities during its construction as well as operation.
