Mytilineos have a proven track record in the construction of solar and storage EPC projects. The London-based renewables group boasts a current portfolio of over 1.5GW of solar energy in projects in Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia. Their storage portfolio is also over 400MW with projects in the UK and Puerto Rico. They also have numerous hybrid projects, combining the use of solar energy with conventional energy sources. With a current project portfolio of over 2GW spread across 3 continents, Mytilineos have eyes on accelerating the transition to green energy.

Sale of 100MW Andalusian solar project confirmed

In February 2021, Mytilineos announced the sale of two 50MW solar projects to Aquila Capital. The two solar plants are located in Jaen and Guillena in Andalusia, both have been developed by the solar group. The plants are due to be operational by Q3 in 2022. Mytilineos is adopting a similar approach to projects currently under development in Cyprus and Australia.
