OX2 has acquired the planned Fageråsen wind farm project in Sweden’s Dalarna region from developers Eolus and Dala Vind. The project comprises up to 34 wind turbines and is expected to generate approximately 700 GWh of electricity annually, representing around 14% of the yearly electricity consumption in Dalarna County.

Located in electricity price zone SE3, the project has secured the necessary permits for construction. The wind farm will contribute to OX2’s strategy of expanding its portfolio of renewable energy parks, where the company assumes long-term ownership alongside its roles as developer and manager. Commissioning of the wind farm is planned for early 2028.

The acquisition marks another step in OX2’s initiative to strengthen its position in Sweden’s SE3 zone, following previous investments in projects near Örnsköldsvik and Eskilstuna.
