PV Installers Austria

List of 3 large PV-Installers in Austria [2024]

Renowned for its awe-inspiring mountain ranges and glimmering lakes, Austria also stands as a paragon of clean energy. Solar power represents a significant component of Austria’s renewable energy portfolio, with a growing number of homeowners exploring the potential of harnessing solar energy for their own benefit. In the following we will present three large PV-Installers in Austria.

1. Secundo Photovoltaik GmbH (Ebensee)

Secundo Photovoltaik, headquartered in Ebensee am Trauensee, is a leading provider of large-scale photovoltaic systems for commercial and industrial clients. The company’s areas of expertise include project development, turnkey installation, and post-installation support. Secundo has completed a wide range of projects, from smaller PV systems with an output of 11 kWp and larger-scale projects reaching up to 1 MWp. Notably, the company has installed photovoltaic systems at 45 Turmöl filling stations, including the Altmünster site, which has reduced CO2 emissions by 13.47 tons per year. In 2019 Secundo joined the DCC Energy family, a global leader in the energy sector, thereby enhancing its access to resources and expertise. This strategic move positions Secundo to undertake even larger projects and potentially expand its reach beyond Austria.

2. Ökovolt Solartechnik GmbH (Ostermiething)

Ökovolt Solartechnik, based in Upper Austria, is part of a leading group of companies in the field of photovoltaics, which operates in Austria, Germany, and Switzerland. The company provides a comprehensive range of photovoltaic systems for both commercial and private customers, as well as municipalities. Its services include the construction of solar parks and individually planned PV systems. Furthermore, Ökovolt provides services, monitoring, and maintenance. At the time or writing, the installed 4.800 systems have a combined output of 340,000 kWp.

3. Selina Photovoltaic GmbH (Vienna)

Selina Photovoltaic is a leading provider of PV installations in Austria, with over 300 PV systems installed. The company maintains offices in Vienna, Salzburg, Tyrol and Carinthia, thereby ensuring its presence in several provinces. Selina Photovoltaic specializes in the development, planning, construction and operation of large-scale photovoltaic systems for industrial and commercial clients. As a result, the company acts as a general contractor for such projects. In Addition to the core market of Austria, the photovoltaic installer is also represented in other European countries, including Germany, where large-scale systems have been installed. In 2023 the company completed more than 100 photovoltaic installations. Overall it has completed 510 large-scale projects with an installed capacity of 71 MWp.
