Solar Installer Ireland

List of 3 large PV-Installers in Ireland

Ireland, celebrated for its breathtaking landscapes and dynamic cultural heritage, is witnessing a notable increase in the generation of renewable energy. Both homeowners and businesses are turning towards solar energy to illuminate their path towards a brighter future. They also achieved the significant milestone of bringing their first utility-scale project online in April 2022. Ireland is investing more and more in solar energy, reaching the 2GW benchmark in 2025. This was mainly due to utility-scale solar, but also thanks to an increase in small-scale solar installations. Now, more than 155,000 homes, businesses and communities are generating solar energy. The further development of the Irish solar landscape is greatly influenced by the work of solar installers. In the following we will highlight three major Solar-Installers from Ireland.

1. TriNRG (Castlebar)

TriNRG is a fully certified solar installer, headquartered in Castlebar, providing a comprehensive range of energy solutions to domestic, commercial, agricultural, and utility sectors, with rooftop and ground-mounted installations. The project was completed in 2024 with an installed capacity of 15 MWp.

2. NuSolas Energy (Shannon)

NuSolas Energy is based in Shannon and is a SEAI-certified solar installation company. The company has been awarded the Business All-Star Solar Company Award by the ALL-Ireland Business in 2024. NuSolas provides its services to residential, commercial, and agricultural clients. The company offers its installations throughout the areas of Clare, Galway, Limerick, Tipperary, and Roscommon

3. SolarSol (Gorey)

SolarSol is based in Gorey and specializes in both residential and commercial solar installations. The company is SEAI registered and works with solar panels from different brands such as Meyer Burger and Jinko Solar. Alongside their services of design, supply, installation, and maintenance of solar energy, the company also offers these services for EV Charging and Battery Storage systems.
