In this article series we are introducing our readers to leading EPCs in Europe. We asked WiSo Engineering, a Tallinn based EPC, three exciting questions regarding their EPC services.
Could you describe your company and EPC activities?
“WiSo Engineering is an Estonian EPC company that offers EPC services for solar projects. We have completed 4 PV projects in 2023, 25,51MW DC of which 8,74MW is a tracker park. Rest are fixed tilt solutions. We currently have 2 projects under construction in total 30MW DC and 77,5MW project under construction management. We are also in the pre-construction phase for 10 projects in Latvia in total 55MW with COD dates in Q1 2024. WiSo currently has 14 employees in Estonia.”
What were your most notable projects so far?
WiSo Engineering manages projects in various parts of Estonia. Our interview partner highlighted two projects in particular:
“Our most notable project is Laastu tracker park which was the largest tracker solution completed in Estonia. Also we are managing the construction for the largest under construction solar park in Estonia.”
Do you have any activities or first projects in emerging sectors?
“We are currently focusing on solar and preparing for storage projects. We have not yet been preparing for hydrogen or AgriPV but if there is interest we would be more than happy to expand our horizons to new technologies.”
