List of 3 large renewables O&M companies in Norway

This list will discuss three green energy O&M companies that are based in Norway.

Norway has been leading the way in terms of hydropower production in Europe for years which has influenced the establishment of some of the globe’s key renewable energy players basing themselves in the country. In this article, we will introduce three key Norwegian renewable energy O&Ms. All of the companies included in this research can be found on our list of large European O&Ms.

Statkraft – O&M based in Oslo

Statkraft is one of the largest European renewable energy firms thanks to its large-scale hydro portfolio. The Norwegian firm has a large global presence with a workforce of 5,300 across 21 countries. In its 125-year history, the group has developed green data centers to provide reliable renewable energy data centers. Due to its strong position in the green energy sector, the firm has developed an industry-leading operation and maintenance division. Statkraft has developed an in-house 24/7 management center in order to optimize the performance of its assets.

Scatec – O&M based in Oslo

Scatec is a renewable energy developed with over 4.6GW worth of green assets in operation or construction across four continents. The Norwegian group has a workforce of over 700 employees. Scatec takes responsibility for the operation of its assets once the assets have been realized, with the aim of maximizing the performance and availability of its assets. The group negotiates long-term contracts to provide services for its assets once developed in order to optimize performance for its clients.

Fred Olsen – O&M based in Oslo

Fred Olsen is an offshore wind energy expert who offers support across all stages of wind farm development including implementation, construction, and maintenance. The firm can offer over 170 years of experience in offshore wind energy, installing over 800 wind turbines in that time. Its O&M division employs over 1,500 employees in the offshore wind industry including wind turbine technicians, renewable energy consultants, engineers, and project managers.
