Viessmann Werke GmbH & Co. KG is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of heating systems and equipment, boilers, and furnaces, including heat pumps. The company was founded in 1917 by Johann Viessmann and is based in Allendorf, Germany. Viessmann has been providing efficient and environmentally responsible heating solutions for four generations now.  The company has 11 production facilities in Germany and abroad, as well as 22 foreign subsidiaries. Viessmann offers a comprehensive range of all types of heat pumps, including ground source, air-source, air-to-water, and hybrid heat pumps. The company’s turnover was 3.404 M€ in 2021.

3. Vaillant Group

Vaillant Group is a Remscheid-based heating technology supplier that has significantly expanded its heat pump business in the last years. The company is among the largest European heat pump suppliers. The Group manufactures heat pumps in France, Germany, and the UK and is focusing on heat pumps that use the natural refrigerant R290, which is particularly environment friendly. Vaillant Group develops and produces their products at ten sites in six European countries and the Republic of China and sells its products worldwide, in more than 60 countries. The company’s turnover was 3.285 M€ in 2021.
