While nuclear power is still the most relevant and biggest energy source for France, hydroelectric power is the second largest source of electricity generation. The market is therefore active and important – accordingly, service providers are also becoming increasingly important. 1. Greensolver (Advisory and Management, Paris)

Greensolver is an independent service-only provider based in Paris. Focusing on asset management, construction management and advisory and consulting, the 2013-founded company is leading in Europe. This is reflected in their portfolio: the company was involved in over 21 GW of installed capacity in projects worldwide. Greensolver also has a clear asset strategy and focuses on solar, onshore wind, energy storage and green hydrogen.

2. Finergreen (Advisory boutique, Paris)

Finergreen is a so-called financial advisory boutique for renewable energy assets. Being involved in over 10GW of projects worldwide, the company, which was founded in 2013 as well, has built up expertise in Mergers & Acquisitions, project finance and strategic advisory. Their focus on renewable energy assts is diversified: solar, wind, biomass and hydro energy are, in addition to energy storage, all of interest for the advisory.

3. QOS Energy France (IT-Services, La Chapelle-sur-Erdre)

QOS Energy France offers cloud-based and data intelligence solutions for renewable energies. Their IT-solution allows for collection data and therefore creating valuable insights. Their product is suitable for various different renewable energy assets such as solar, wind, hydro or biomass assets as well as energy storage projects. The company was founded in 2010 and is based in la Chapelle-sur-Erdre.
