1) LONGi Solar Technology Co, Ltd (Xi’an / China)
Longi is a leading manufacturer of high-efficiency solar cells and modules located in Xi’an, China. The company is the leader in the production of monocrystalline silicon wafers. The firm was founded in 2000 and has total assets of 14.2 billion US dollar. Longi has a cell capacity of 30 GW and a module capacity of 50 GW.
2) VIKRAM SOLAR LIMITED (Kolkata / India)
Vikram is one of India’s largest photovoltaic module manufacturers. The company is located in Kolkata and has an annual production capacity of 2.5 GW. Next to solar modules Vikram is an energy solutions provider, and an EPC and O&M service provider. The firm produces monofacial and Bifacial PERC modules.
3) Hanwha Solutions Corporation (Seoul / South Korea)
Q Cells is one of the largest solar module manufacturers in South Korea. The company was founded in Thalheim, Germany and has since moved its headquarters to Seoul after being bought out of bankruptcy by the Hanwha Group in 2012. Q Cells still have one of their technology & innovation centers in Germany. The company produces solar modules and energy storage systems.
