Nordex is one of the pioneers of the wind turbine manufacturers. The company was founded in 1985 and has developed many important product in the industry. Nordex produced the first 4 MW+ turbine in 2017 and is now focused on developing 3-6 MW wind turbines. The company is focused on producing onshore wind turbines.
2. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (Aarhus, Denmark)
Vestas is a danish wind turbine manufacturer located in Aarhus. The company is one of the largest producers of wind turbines with an installed capacity of 145 GW’s. The firm has supplied wind turbines in 85 countries and was the first company to reach the mark of 100 GW. Vestas develops onshore as well as offshore wind turbines.
3. Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy, S.A. (Zamudio, Spain)
Siemens Games is one of the largest European wind turbine manufacturers. The firm is a large producer of on- and offshore wind turbines. The company has delivered over 100 GW of wind energy.
