While the Île-de-France is a relatively small region compared to other French regions, it is the heart of the French economy. Home to the capital city Paris, Île-de-France is not only home to around 18% of the French population, but also to a variety of companies. With climate change and countermeasures on the forefront, it is not surprising that a lot of renewable energy companies have their headquarters here. PV-installations, be it for individual households, for industrial purposes or for communities, are an essential part in changing the energy mix in France. The following article presents three PV-installers operating in and from Île-de-France.
1. Elk Performance, Voisins-le-Bretonneux
Elk Performance is a company focusing on photovoltaic energy – since 2018, the company has installed over 15,300 panels which together generate over 1,500 MW of sustainable energy. Elk Performance is RGE-certified and focuses on the installation of photovoltaic projects for self-consumption or smaller industrial projects. Besides rooftop installations, the company also offers ground-mounted solar parks as well as car park canopies and more.
2. Transition France Énergie SAS, Paris
Transition France Énergie has its headquarters in Paris and offers their services since over ten years. The company aims to accelerate and support energy independence for their costumers and the French population by offering PV-Installations and highlighting the saving of electricity costs in the long run. Also thanks to its RGE certification, it is clear that Transition France Énergie is a reliable partner with expertise in the field of photovoltaic energy.
3. Obton France, Paris
Obton is one of the largest and most well-known renewable energy companies in France. The company offers a holistic approach, starting at conceptualizing, installing and maintaining their solar projects. While the other two presented companies mainly focus on smaller installations for households, Obton offers their services mostly for industrial services or communities, e.g. industrial-size installations. The Paris-headquartered company was founded in 2017 and operates all over France.
