Update 2024: Norwegian company Nel Hydrogen will invest in a new hydrogen plant for $400 in Plymouth Township, Michigan, US.

3. Sunfire GmbH

Sunfire is a globally acclaimed industrial electrolysis company based in Dresden, renowned for its excellence. Their vision is to be the foremost provider in hydrogen and chlorine technologies, envisioning a future where their large-scale solutions shape green value chains, contributing significantly to climate-neutrality and the evolution of a new industry ecosystem. The companies experience in chlor-alkali business appears to be a safe ground for alkaline water electrolysis technology and scale-up. The company has its locations in Germany, Italy, the United States, Saudi Arabia, India, Japan, China, and Australia – employing more than 600 people worldwide.

5. Topsoe A/S

Topsoe is a Lyngby based leading force, dedicated to developing and delivering cutting-edge solutions and technologies that are pivotal in driving the energy transition forward. The company is a trusted name in energy-efficient technologies, presenting an array of solutions spanning hydroprocessing, chemical processing, and air emission control.
