What’s the focus of the Reading based developer?

Anesco specializes in the construction and management of solar and energy storage assets. Having constructed 106 solar energy farms in the UK, totaling 550MW, the company has been at the forefront of introducing battery storage technology in the country. Currently managing 24,000 assets with a combined capacity of over 1.3GW, Anesco has demonstrated operational excellence in the renewable energy sector.

Ambitious solar projects in the UK and beyond

Founded in 2010, Anesco quickly established itself by constructing the largest solar farm in Dorset, UK, within its first year. Expanding beyond the UK, Anesco, in partnership with Shell New Energies, has diversified its projects with the development of solar farms in the Netherlands. Future initiatives, such as a 300MW solar farm in the UK, are secured as part of their 3GW pipeline plan, reinforcing Anesco's commitment to sustainable energy solutions.

Planning permission secured for trio of English and Welsh solar farms

Following £12m revolving credit facility from Santander UK, Anesco have confirmed the development of a series of battery and solar projects. The battery storage projects will be located in Dundee, Melksham, Nottingham, Ipswich and Essex. Anesco plan for the battery projects to come online in spring 2023 whereas the solar farms located in England and South Wales will become operational this year.
