What’s the focus of Aurea Capital?

Aurea Capital Development is the renewable branch of the Aurea investment group. The Spanish developer boasts a growing solar portfolio, since 2016 their portfolio amasses a total installed capacity of 1.2GW. The focus of Aurea Capital Development is the development of technologies including photovoltaic energy, biogas as well as biofuels. These feed the portfolio of investment funds by Aurea Capital Investment Management with projects, to assure their long-term viability.

Aurea possess a diverse portfolio with increasing activity in biogas and biofuel production. Aurea Green Gas was introduced in order to reduce rising agriculture induced methane emission, transforming wastes into valuable resources. Aurea Sustainable Fuels is an additional specialised branch which aims to develop biofuels from urban waste. This branch was able to successfully produce Spain’s first sustainable aviation biofuel.
