What‘s the focus of Blue Elephant Energy?

Founded in 2016, Hamburg-based Blue Elephant Energy AG acquires and operates solar and onshore wind parks. More than 70% of the company’s generation capacity consists of solar assets. Blue Elephant Energy is active in eight countries with a focus on Western and Central Europe. This way, it managed to build a substantial portfolio of over 1,500MW of installed capacity, with over 3,200MW in development.

BEE acquired PV park in the Netherlands from Greencells Group

The Hamburg-based solar and wind farm operator Blue Elephant Energy AG (BEE) acquired a ready-to-build PV park in the Netherlands with a capacity of 10 MW from the global solar service provider Greencells Group. The project is scheduled to be commissioned by the end of 2022. The BEE team is expanding its portfolio in the Netherlands to 631 MW, making it one of the largest solar park operators in the country.

Acquisition of solar portfolio in Chile

Hamburg-based solar and wind park operator Blue Elephant Energy acquired a 120MW PV solar portfolio in Chile. It consists of 20 assets, which are mostly operational solar farms. The remaining projects under construction will be commissioned in 2024. This acquisition increases the company‘s portfolio in Chile to 281 MW.
