London-based asset manager with solar and wind projects
Founded in 1988, Capital Dynamics is an independent private asset management firm. The London-based group contain a clean energy division which focuses on investments in late-stage and commercially operational renewable assets. The division was established to capitalize on the fast-growing renewable energy sector with a focus on utility-scale wind and solar projects. Currently, they are one of the largest owners of subsidy-free renewable assets in southern Europe, with a total installed capacity of 570MW.
Purchase confirmed for 18MW Sicilian Project Cliff solar farm
In May 2022, the clean energy division of Capital Dynamics confirmed their 100% stake in the 18MW Sicilian solar farm. The purchase was agreed from Solar Ventures of the ready-to-built solar project. The site is expected to become operational by 2023 and will power over 5,000 Italian homes a year. The energy produced will be provided to a previously agreed long-term power purchase agreement.
