The renewable energy group has its headquarters in San Francisco, but further offices in cities in Texas, New Jersey, Arizona and California. Founded in 2016, Clearway is one of the largest renewable energy developers in the US with over 5GW capacity of wind, solar, and energy storage. Of these, 1.6GW are solar projects and 3.7GW are wind energy projects.
Renewable energy developer Clearway Energy Group signed a 25-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with PacifiCorp for two US wind projects. The PPA includes the in-development wind projects in Two Rivers, Wyoming with a capacity of 280MW and in Cedar Creek, Idaho with a capacity of 152MW. Both projects are expected to become operational in 2024.
