What‘s the focus of Clearway Energy Group?

With many solar and wind projects across the US, Clearway is focused on generating clean energy to provide to its customers. The renewable energy group has its headquarters in San Francisco, but further offices in cities in Texas, New Jersey, Arizona and California. Founded in 2016, Clearway is one of the largest renewable energy developers in the US with over 5GW capacity of wind, solar, and energy storage. Of these, 1.6GW are solar projects and 3.7GW are wind energy projects.

432MW PPA for US wind projects

Renewable energy developer Clearway Energy Group signed a 25-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with PacifiCorp for two US wind projects. The PPA includes the in-development wind projects in Two Rivers, Wyoming with a capacity of 280MW and in Cedar Creek, Idaho with a capacity of 152MW. Both projects are expected to become operational in 2024.
