Founded in 2019, Cloudberry is a Norway-based renewable energy company with a focus on hydropower plants as well as wind farms. Headquartered in Oslo, the company owns, develops, and operates several large-scale hydropower and wind assets in Norway and Sweden.
Oslo-based renewable energy investor Cloudberry Clean Energy acquired a majority stake in a huge wind portfolio from Danish renewable energy developer Skovgaard Energy. The portfolio consists of 47 Danish and 4 Swedish wind turbines in production and the acquired stake adds a total capacity of 106MW to Cloudberry.
Oslo-based Cloudberry Clean Energy, through its subsidiary Odin Energy, acquired the Nees Hede hybrid solar and wind project in Denmark. Located in western Jutland, it boasts a capacity of 210 MW, comprising 140MW of solar capacity. This will be Cloudberry’s first hybrid project, which is expected to play a substantial role in enhancing the overall portfolio of the company. This strategic move aligns with Cloudberry's commitment to diversifying and advancing its presence in the renewable energy sector.
