Founded in 2015, Cubico Sustainable Investments group boasts an impressive portfolio with over 170 assets providing an installed 3GW capacity. Current projects span across 13 countries including Brazil, Greece, Australia and the US which are focused on harvesting wind and solar energy. The company vows to act on their six core values (DRIVE): Diversity, Respect, Integrity, Value Creation and Excellence. Plans are underway to further increase their renewable energy capacity with over 300MW in construction and a pipeline of 1.8GW. Cubico aim to be amongst the leaders in the drive towards clean energy in order to strive towards a net zero future by 2050.

Planning secured for Delburn windfarm in Victoria

In March 2022, Cubico confirmed the authorisation of the development of a wind farm in Victoria, Australia. The proposed farm will consist of 33 turbines providing a capacity of 200MW. The project will be the first plantation based wind farm to be developed in Victoria which will power an estimated 135,000 homes in the area. The wind farm will be located in Latrobe Valley which is an area enriched with a history in energy generation. The project will be a cornerstone in the change to renewable energy sources in the area with closures to nearby coal power stations to commence in 2028.
