Thus, the 2015 founded company is already considered as a world leader in the context of providing renewable energy. As the local component is important to them, they include regional experts in order to make the best decision for each investment.
By investing in renewable energy projects worldwide, the company attaches importance to cover the entire energy supply chain, meaning development as well as construction and operation of the projects. Due to their conviction of long-term projects, Cubico Sustainable Investments relies on outstanding market knowledge regarding the transaction of new investment. With this approach they were able to extend their portfolio with many renewable projects: from solar photovoltaic farms to onshore wind parks and the generation of energy through concentrated solar power.
London-based Cubico Sustainable Investments purchased a 46% stake in a Spanish wind farm from Axpo International. Located in Castilla y Leon, the wind farm La Peñuca has a total capacity of 33MW. This stake will balance the renewable energy investor’s asset portfolio, which predominantly consists of solar assets in Spain.
UK-based Cubico Sustainable Investments will make a huge investment in the solar market in Brazil: The company will acquire a 1GW solar project under development from ZEG Energias Renováveis. Cubico and ZEG Energias Renováveis will co-develop the large solar complex in Brazil called Project Sobral.
