Cubico Sustainable Investments with headquarter in London installed a capacity of over 4 GW in 13 different countries in the last years. While employing 250 people worldwide, they were able to successfully accomplish 114 assets. Thus, the 2015 founded company is already considered as a world leader in the context of providing renewable energy. London-based Cubico Sustainable Investments purchased a 46% stake in a Spanish wind farm from Axpo International. Located in Castilla y Leon, the wind farm La Peñuca has a total capacity of 33MW. This stake will balance the renewable energy investor’s asset portfolio, which predominantly consists of solar assets in Spain.
UK-based Cubico Sustainable Investments will make a huge investment in the solar market in Brazil: The company will acquire a 1GW solar project under development from ZEG Energias Renováveis. Cubico and ZEG Energias Renováveis will co-develop the large solar complex in Brazil called Project Sobral.
