In order to reach this goal, the developer with headquarter in Paris obligated themselves to accelerate the process by building innovative energy storage systems whereby the strain on electricity grids will be relieved.
French developer as expert for wind energy generation and storage
Together with their subsidiary Theolia Naturenergien GmbH, EDF Renewables was able to develop a portfolio with a total capacity of 500MW. Besides the actual wind projects, the French Developer is operating 5 GW energy storage worldwide while aiming to reach a capacity of 10 GW additional energy storage within the next 15 years.
