What’s the focus of Enefit Green?

Located in Estonia, Enefit Green AS is one of the leading renewable energy producers in the Baltic Sea region. The Tallinn-based company is a subsidiary of the Eesti Energia group which is owned by the state of Estonia. When it comes to the company’s focus, Enefit Green AS owns onshore and offshore wind and solar parks, CHP plants and a hydroelectric power plant.

Acquisition of a wind farm in Estonia

Estonia-based renewable energy developer Enefit Green will purchase the Tootsi wind farm which is located in Estonia. Acquired from Eesti Energia for €27 million, the wind farm has a planned capacity of 74MW and is ready to start construction. The company expects the wind farm to be operational by the end of 2024.

Acquisition of two solar development projects in Estonia

Estonian renewable energy developer Enefit Green AS will acquire two solar projects in Parnu County, Estonia. The two projects are in early-stage development and will have a combined capacity of up to 165MW. Enefit Green AS will make the two projects a part of its long-term development portfolio aiming to reach a final investment decision in 2024.

Acquisition of a 1GW Estonian offshore wind project

Estonia-based renewable energy developer Enefit Green will acquire a 1GW Estonian offshore wind project from its parent company Eesti Energia for a transaction cost of €6.2 million. Located in the Estonian Gulf of Riga, currently the preliminary technical analysis of the 1GW Liivi offshore wind farm is being carried out.
