Plans outlined for 160MW Anglesey solar plant

British solar developer Enso Energy announced their plans for a 160MW solar and battery project located in the heart of Anglesey, Wales. The Alaw Môn solar project will produce enough electricity to supply 33,935 Welsh homes. The Dursley-based group are waiting to receive approval from residents, authorities and stakeholders before construction can commence. The project will represent a key part of Wales’ 70% electricity from renewables by 2030.
