What’s the focus of Forestalia Renovables?

Founded in 2011, Forestalia Renovables is an important developer in the renewable energy sector. The company’s focus lies on the utility-scale development of onshore wind, solar as well as biomass projects. Whilst being headquartered in Madrid, Forestalia also has technical offices located in France and Italy.

The company currently boasts a portfolio of over 6GW with projects dispersed across several regions in Spain. Their biomass production based in León has an electrical output of 49.5MWe, which relies on forest and herbaceous biomass. Forestalia aim to be at the heart of the shift towards a net-zero economy and to have a positive impact to regions where their projects are conducted.
