The global energy and commodity trader was established in 1997, yet only in the last 10 years, Hartree has begun acquiring renewables assets. With 16 global offices, the London-based group are able to provide high-level analytics and global energy expertise to their customers. Thanks to their collaboration with AMPYR, AMPYR Solar Europe (ASE) and Vertee, Hartree have been able to acquire and aid the development of large-scale renewable projects.
In March 2022, AMPYR US, AGP and Hartree announced a further expansion to their previously announced European solar project. AMPYR US will be set up in order to deliver a 5GW utility-scale solar pipeline dispersed across the US. AMPYR US will be headquartered in New York, aiming to be at the heart of the fast-growing US solar expansion. The first partnership between the three was announced in February with a similar 5GW solar pipeline located across Europe, managed by AMPYR solar Europe.
