What‘s the focus of ib vogt?
The German solar developer has been involved in the development of solar energy since 2002. The solar group currently has over 27 offices worldwide, including Europe, North America, Asia-Pacific and Africa with over 500 employees. It has developed over 139 projects worldwide. Ib vogt have sold over 1.26GW to investors since 2014, their customers consist of leading global investment firms. The Berlin-based group currently has over 2.2GW of solar plants under construction and a future pipeline of 40GW.
ACEN invests $200m in ib vogt’s 1GW Asian project
The Philippine power producer ACEN has confirmed their partnership with ib vogt to finance the construction and operation of 1GW solar plants across Asia. The sites are located in Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Laos and Bangladesh. The projects have been sourced from ib vogt’s 5GW Asia development pipeline. The partnership has set a minimum operational capacity of 1GW, with a view to potential further expansion. The first projects are due to commence construction in 2022, subject to regulatory approvals.
