The Dublin-based investment company NTR plc is acquiring, constructing and managing sustainable infrastructure and investing in renewable energy assets on behalf of its investors. Through several investments and constructions, the company has built a portfolio of about 2GW of wind projects as well as 630MW of solar projects across Europe and the US.
Ireland-based NTR manages wind, solar and storage projects in around 50 locations across six European countries. Its NTR Wind 1 LP Fund, which was launched in 2016, has wind projects throughout Ireland and the UK. In 2018, the company launched NTR Renewable Energy Income Fund II which invests in onshore wind, solar and battery storage projects in six European countries.
Renewable energy investor NTR plc signed a Power Purchase Agreement with the Irish bank AIB to source the energy that will be generated from two solar farms. NTR plc will construct the two PV solar farms in County Wexford, Ireland. They are expected to have a total operational capacity of 21.4GWh and will cover up to 80% of AIB’s electricity consumption for over 270 properties.
Irish investment company NTR acquired the Medebridge solar farm in Essex from REG Power Management. The solar farm holds a capacity of 70MWp and is due to become operational in early 2024.
