Obton is a Danish development company that focuses on solar assets in the European market. It is seen as an experienced player when it comes to funding, developing and managing solar PV projects. So far, it has acquired over 1400 photovoltaic projects. The company is a first-mover when it comes to developing projects. Typically, Obton supervises projects it has acquired and concludes the agreements with suppliers and subcontractors. The company aims to achieve long-term partnerships with developers, system owners, as well as financial institutions. As of 2023, it has achieved a total solar capacity of 1728MWp.
