What’s the focus of rPlus Energies?
Located in Salt Lake City, Utah, rPlus Energies was established in 2018 as a subsidiary of The Gardner Group. The company develops, builds, owns and operates large-scale renewable energy generation and storage projects, including utility-scale solar, pumped storage hydro, battery storage and wind projects.
600MW PPA for solar and storage project in Utah
Renewable energy developer rPlus Energies signed a long-term power purchase agreement (PPA) with US electricity provider PacifiCorp for its Green River Energy Centre in Utah. Including 400 MW of solar and 200 MW of storage, the project is expected to start construction in 2023. With this PPA, rPlus Energies has more than 1.2 GW of contracted renewable generation capacity.
