Acquisition of solar projects in Poland
SSE Renewables has acquired a 400MW portfolio of early-stage solar photovoltaics projects in Poland from developer IBC Solar, further expanding its pipeline in Northern Europe. This acquisition expands the company's solar pipeline in the country to nearly 1GW: In 2023, the company already acquired approximately 500MW of early-stage solar PV projects in Poland from local developer Optisol.
