Swiss Life Asset Management has four different funds for investments in renewable energy including solar, offshore and onshore wind, hydro and biomass assets. The regional focus of the Swiss company’s investment strategy is in Europe and the United States.
Acquisition of a share in offshore wind farm in the Netherlands
Swiss Life Asset Managers will acquire a 20% share in the North Sea offshore wind farm Borssele 3&4 from Partners Group. Located near the Port of Vlissingen in the Netherlands, the already fully-operational wind farm comprises 77 turbines and has a capacity to produce 3,000 GWh of energy each year.
