Turnkey solar parks in Europe

List of 3 solar park EPC companies in Europe

Solar energy is one of the most important renewable energy sources in order to fight climate change. Especially for sunny countries, like Italy, Spain or Portugal, photovolatic energy promises a cheap and valuable source for sustainable energy. The engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of solar parks is a key step in the lifecycle of power plants. Solar EPC companies in Europe are offering turnkey solutions and thereby contributing to the fight against climate change. The following article presents three important PV park EPC companies based and operating in Europe.

1) Belectric (Kolitzheim, Germany)

Belectric is one of the most important German service provider offering multiple services for solar energy. The company offers project development, operations and management and also EPC services, all for solar parks, floating PV, hybrid projects or Agri-PV. Since their founding in 2001, the company headquartered in Kolitzheim has developed a portfolio of over 4GW of installed capacity.

Update 2024: Belectric wants to solidify its Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) presence in the UK market. Luminous Energy, a prominent UK developer of renewable energy and battery storage projects, has awarded Belectric the contract to construct the Bracon Ash solar farm near Norwich in Norfolk, England. Anticipated to be operational in the summer of 2024, the solar power plant is projected to generate sufficient electricity to fulfill the annual requirements of over 9,500 homes.

2) Bester Generacion S.L.U (Sevilla, Spain)

Bester Generacion is a Spanish service provider describing itself as a “Leader in Renewable Energies Turnkey Solutions”. The company, not unlike Belectric, is involved in multiple steps in the value chain, starting with the project development, operation and management and of course EPC services. Bester is headquartered in Sevilla, and mainly operates in Europe and Mexico.
