The Canadian solar energy developer offers products and services around solar panels and parks. Besides the development including products and services around the solar panels and parks, the Guelph-based developer is active in utility, commercial and residential solar development. Since their founding in 2001, Canadian Solar shipped around 55 GW of energy in solar modules in over 150 countries worldwide and has a project pipeline with more than 20.8 GW.
Development of 1.5GW Battery Energy Storage Systems
Battery storage developer Windel Energy and Canadian Solar are teaming up to develop 1.5 gigawatts of battery energy storage systems (BESS) in the UK. Windel will work on the early stages of BESS projects, and Canadian Solar will provide funding and support. Their goal is to have these projects ready for construction. This collaboration follows their commitment to develop 1.4 gigawatts of solar together.
