Description

List of 3 large PV-Installers in Hungary [2024]

The Hungarian nation, characterized by a prevalence of sunshine and historical heritage, is witnessing a notable increase in the solar energy sector. The increasing emphasis on environmental sustainability and the establishment of ambitious national renewable energy targets are propelling this promising trend. In the following we will present three large PV-Installers in Hungary.

1. BNRG Greenevolution (Budapest)

BNRG Greenevolution was established in 2010 and  is a prominent provider of comprehensive solar solutions that are intended o facilitate the realization of a sustainable future for Hungary. The company offers solar installations for residential, institutional, and industrial projects. To date the company has installed over 73.000 kW capacity of solar PV on their own investment and 42.000 kW for their personal clients. An example project is the ground-mounted solar park in Mosonszentmiklós, that was built in 2021 with a capacity of 1 MWp.

2. Rena Project Kft. – Rena Solar (Budapest)

Rena Solar was established in 2008 and specializes in industrial-scale solar photovoltaic power plants, rooftop and ground-mounted. To date the company has an installed capacity of more than 400 MW, with 1.330.000 solar panels installed. Rena works with solar panels from different manufacturers such as Axitec , LG, JA Solar, REC, and Trinasolar. An example project is a ground-mounted solar park in Upszólca with a capacity of 6.5 MW. The company operates in Hungary, Germany, France, Austria, and the United Kingdom.

3. Goodwill Energy Zrt. (Budapest)

Goodwill Energy was one of the first companies in the solar energy sector in 2010 and is a leading provider of photovoltaic solutions for residential, commercial, and public projects including rooftop, ground-mounted, and large-scale installations. The company was among the first to establish an aggregator partnership, thereby enabling the comprehensive management of solar system installation and commissioning processes in conjunction with aFRR obligations. To date Goodwill Energy has completed more than 1.200 solar projects in Hungary.
